Terms of use

This information applies to creasana.com, its subdomains and Creasana applications.

1. Introduction

Creasana (the “Company”, “we” or “us”), whose details are provided in the Legal notice, operates creasana.com, its subdomains, the Creasana applications and related services (together, the “Service”). Creasana supports the creation and organisation of yoga sequences and provides educational resources, including the Studio, themes, Academy and Library.

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the Service. They are available before account creation and from within the Service. By creating an account, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted them using the checkbox provided. If you do not accept them, do not create an account or use features subject to these Terms. Visitors must also respect the usage rules and rights in the content they access.

The Privacy Policy separately explains how personal data is processed. Premium purchases are also governed by the Terms of Sale shown at checkout, which prevail on purchase matters. Changes to these Terms are addressed in the final section.

2. Definitions

  • “User / You / Your”: any person accessing the Service, with or without an account.
  • “The Company / We / Our”: Creasana, the publisher and operator identified in the Legal notice.
  • “User account”: a personal space associated with login credentials, providing access to features available under the chosen plan.
  • “Creasana content”: text, courses, quizzes, descriptions, illustrations, images, graphics, templates and databases provided by the Company or its licensors.
  • “Creations”: sequences, notes, arrangements and personal content added by a User; incorporated Creasana elements retain their own protection.
  • “Plan”: the Creasana Basic or Creasana Premium offer determining available features, as described when subscribing.

3. Account and access

Provide accurate information, protect your credentials and report unauthorised use. Accounts are individual and must not provide collective access to the catalogue, whether paid or free. You must have legal capacity to contract or authorisation from a legal representative where required.

Basic is free and Premium provides the features advertised for that plan. Some features require a connection and compatible device. Local-only content depends on your device: keep your own copies where the app permits.

4. Acceptable use of the Service

You are responsible for your use of the Service and for protecting your account. Report unauthorised access promptly; you are not automatically responsible for fraudulent use that is not attributable to you. To maintain a useful, respectful and safe experience, the following conduct is prohibited:

  • Harassment, threats, discrimination, impersonation or sharing unlawful content or content infringing privacy or others’ rights.
  • Unauthorised access to accounts or data, sharing credentials to bypass plans, or using multiple accounts to evade Service limits.
  • Introducing malware, deliberately overloading the Service, misusing its interfaces or bypassing security measures and access limits.
  • Extracting, copying or reusing content in breach of the content protection section, including scraping or systematic bulk opening and downloading.
  • Using sharing features to send unsolicited communications or disclose confidential third-party data without authorisation.

Measures for abuse are described in “Abuse prevention, suspension and account deletion”. Normal use or an accessibility tool does not by itself constitute abuse.

5. Your creations

You retain the rights you hold in your text, arrangements and imported content. Including existing Creasana or third-party illustrations or descriptions in a sequence does not transfer their underlying rights to you. You must have the necessary permissions for content you import or share.

You authorise Creasana to host, process, technically reproduce and display your creations only to provide requested features, including synchronisation and sharing. This does not permit resale or separate advertising exploitation. Permission ends on deletion, subject to necessary technical copies, legal obligations and sharing already completed.

6. Permitted use and content protection

You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to view and use Creasana content only within the service, within the limits of your plan. You may prepare your own sequences there and use that preparation to teach your classes, including paid classes. This right of use grants no right to reproduce, copy or reuse Creasana texts, illustrations, images, courses or other content outside the service, even when included in a personal sequence. You retain the rights to your own creations; those rights do not extend to any Creasana content they use. Local saving, synchronisation and viewing through links within the service do not authorise content extraction; only technical copies necessary for the normal operation of the available features are covered by this right of use.

Unless authorised in writing or covered by a statutory exception, you must not reproduce, copy, modify or distribute Creasana content, in whole or in part, on any medium; repeatedly extract small portions to reconstruct a database; systematically open or download content in bulk, manually or automatically; use bots, scripts, multiple accounts or alternative access to bypass controls; or collect images, SVGs, text or courses for another website, app, corpus or AI training. The Company asserts the database producer protection provided by Articles L.341-1 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code for databases whose obtaining, verification or presentation involves substantial financial, material or human investment. Unless authorised or covered by an applicable statutory exception, extracting or reusing all or a qualitatively or quantitatively substantial part of these databases is prohibited, as is repeated and systematic extraction or reuse of insubstantial parts exceeding normal conditions of use.

Normal browsing, creating many classes and accessibility tools are not abusive in themselves. Search engines may index public pages in accordance with the site’s access directives; this gives no right to extract the private catalogue or republish content. Send licence requests or security reports to contact@creasana.com.

7. Application licence

Subject to these Terms, Creasana grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the applications on devices you own or control, within your plan and the relevant store rules. This licence also permits preparing your professional classes; it does not transfer ownership of software or content or authorise redistribution.

You may not resell, sublicense, modify or redistribute the software, or attempt to obtain its source code by reverse engineering, decompilation or disassembly, except with written permission, under an applicable statutory exception or as permitted by a third-party component licence. Mandatory rights, including interoperability, observation of operation and backup copying under the applicable legal conditions, remain unaffected.

For an application obtained from the App Store, the Apple Standard EULA and store usage rules govern the application licence unless a custom licence is published in that store. These Terms govern the Service and do not replace that standard licence. Other stores may also impose distribution and usage terms. Statutory guarantees and mandatory rights remain unaffected.

8. Subscriptions

Premium pricing, duration, renewal and cancellation are explained in the Terms of Sale and at checkout. Consumers have a fourteen-day right of withdrawal as described in the Terms of Sale; immediate access does not involve waiving that right. Statutory guarantees and mandatory rights remain applicable; payment-provider terms do not replace them.

Access to your plan’s features does not authorise unlimited requests, downloads or computing resources. Rate and volume limits may protect the Service; they must not unjustifiably remove the features promised by the plan.

9. Abuse prevention, suspension and account deletion

If you breach these Terms or applicable contractual documents brought to your attention and accepted where required, the Company may take proportionate measures: limiting requests, requesting verification, removing disputed shared content, suspending or deleting your Account. These measures may address bulk extraction, compromise, unlawful use or proven harm to security, third-party rights or Creasana’s reputation arising from unlawful conduct or breach of contractual obligations. High volume, lawful criticism or an unfavourable review alone do not constitute a breach. Urgent action may be taken without notice where justified by the seriousness of the breach or a security risk; otherwise, a warning and, where appropriate, an opportunity to remedy the breach are provided.

Where possible and consistent with security and law, we explain the reason and how to resolve it. You can request review at contact@creasana.com. Serious or repeated breaches may lead to account closure and legally available remedies.

Deleting the Account ends the access and usage rights attached to it. It does not extinguish amounts lawfully due for services already provided, obligations intended to survive termination or separate agreements that have not been terminated. It does not automatically justify charging for undelivered future services and does not remove your rights in your creations or statutory rights to retrieve data, obtain a refund or seek a remedy.

10. Availability, practice and liability

The Service is, in principle, continuously accessible. Creasana uses reasonable efforts to maintain availability and protect data, without guaranteeing any particular uptime, support response time or learning outcome. The Company may temporarily interrupt all or part of the Service for maintenance, updates, technical developments, security or legal requirements. Planned interruptions are announced where reasonably possible; emergencies may require action without notice. An interruption does not automatically entitle you to compensation, without excluding guarantees, refunds or remedies provided by law or contract.

The Company may develop the Service’s features and interface to improve performance, security, compatibility or user experience. Changes respect promised features, conformity obligations and, where applicable, requirements for advance information on a durable medium and rights to terminate without charge. They do not permit the unilateral imposition of an additional price.

The Company may decide to permanently discontinue all or part of the Service for legitimate reasons, including technical, economic or regulatory reasons. Unless impossible or justified by urgency, Users receive reasonable advance notice and may retrieve their creations under applicable legal requirements. For a paid subscription, undelivered services and corresponding payments are handled in accordance with the Terms of Sale and statutory rights, including refunds where due.

Content provides educational and class-planning resources, not diagnosis, medical treatment or professional certification. Adapt suggestions to your training, audience and individual capabilities; seek a health professional’s advice when needed. Creasana does not replace a teacher’s judgement. The Company provides software and educational resources; it does not provide physical instruction or supervise practice. Each User remains responsible for their practice choices and, when teaching, for adapting and supervising classes within their competence. Physical practice involves risks: respect your abilities and those of your students, and stop an exercise if pain or discomfort occurs. This clause does not exclude Creasana’s liability for a breach attributable to it or statutory rights and remedies for bodily injury.

Creasana’s liability is determined by applicable law. Harm attributable to user misuse or a legally recognised exempting event is not automatically attributable to Creasana. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or consumer guarantees and remedies. Linked third-party services have their own terms.

11. Changes and disputes

These Terms may be updated to reflect developments in the Service, technology, security or legal requirements. The version and last updated date appear on this page; we recommend checking it regularly. New Terms are published on the website and apply to new Users upon publication unless a later date is stated. For existing contracts, their effective date respects applicable notice periods, information requirements and rights to refuse or terminate. Material changes are notified by email or through the Service, together with their effective date; information on a durable medium and renewed acceptance are provided or obtained where required. Changes do not apply retroactively.

If a provision of these Terms is held invalid, unlawful or unenforceable by a competent authority, the other provisions remain effective insofar as the contract can continue without that provision, subject to applicable law.

These Terms are governed by French law without depriving consumers of applicable mandatory protections in their country of residence. If a dispute arises, please first contact us to seek an amicable solution at contact@creasana.com. If no amicable solution is reached, jurisdiction follows applicable legal rules; the Cannes commercial court is not imposed as the exclusive forum.
